December Mittenz

And it’s December!! 
Are you ready for it? 
This year kind of dragged, but now it seems that the days are flying by … 

Let’s start the Mittenz Blitz! 
This will run for two months, and we’ll extend the Hatz Blitz another month as well, and we’ll end up with a set.  

Ok, so this may not be the warmest of mittens, but fingerless mittens are good for a second layer over your gloved hands.  It adds the extra layer of warmth without bulking up the fingers, leaving it nimble to work with. 
I was obsessed with this pattern this past couple of years, and I’ve picked it up again for this year.  The original pattern is for a short wrist band, but I added length to cover up the arms a bit. It’s a fun pattern, and works up nice in any plain or variegated yarn. 
Oh, and they make nice Christmas gifts as well 🙂
